Our organization specializes in horticultural crop research, including agronomy and plant nutrition, plant physiology, breeding, genetic engineering and tissue culture, and control of diseases and pests through integrated pest management. In addition, we are serving Hawai’iʻs agricultural industries through research and technology transfer to Hawai’iʻs farmers, ranchers and foresters. |
Seeds 4 Tomorrow Program
Seeds 4 Tomorrow is the Hawai’i Agriculture Research Center (HARC) Education Program that connects K-12 students, schools, teachers, and community members through hands-on exploration of agriculture disciplines, including art, culinary arts, entrepreneurship, and research. Our mission is to support the next generation of agriculture advocates and land stewards by sharing agricultural industry experiences. |
All applicants will select a headquarter location as their home base and attend visits to our “other” location, Mililani Agrivoltaics site, and Kunia Country Farms
