 Seeds 4 Tomorrow
 From Plants to Products!

Day 1: Plants & Watershed
We will kick off our camp with an introduction to plants, soil and lei making. Students will also learn about Oahu's soil and watershed and how we can care for the ecosystems they provide.

Day 2 Cultivation & Propagation
Agriculture professionals will teach students common propagation techniques used in agriculture such as cuttings, graft and tissue culture. Students will learn about plant genetics and how it relates to flavor and yield.

Day 3: Plants to Products
Many of the products we use everyday come from plants. Students will have the chance to take raw plant material and process it into various products such as spices, coffee, cacao, biofuels and other plant products.

Day 4: Farm to Table
Students will visit several farms located in Kunia to learn about traditional and innovative agriculture practices being used. They will also meet with culinary art professionals to make healthy snacks and learn new recipes using local ingredients.

Day 5: Build a Business
This is the day students are sure to be waiting for! Students will put their hard work and new found knowledge into practice by making their own final product. Mentors and coaches will help prepare students for their Saturday marketplace event, which will be the culmination of a week's worth of learning.

Day 6: Marketplace Competition
Our Saturday
event is sure to be the most exciting day of the camp as our students become young "Agriprenuers" and present their agriculture focused businesses to their peers, parents and other farmers. We highly encourage students to invite their friends and family to this fun event!
