Irrigation: Research plots in jatropha, and consulting in sugarcane and coffee
Nutrient and Salinity: Testing of new fertilizers in corn, trials in jatropha and consulting in sugarcane and coffee
Weed Control: Field trials with new herbicides in sugarcane, and with herbicide tolerant crops
Tillage and Soil Conservation: Researching the use of vegetative barriers and groundcovers for soil erosion control, and implementing NRCS conservation designs at HARC
Other Agronomic Practices: Worked planting techniques, spacing/population experiments, ripening of crop, and harvesting
