Seeds4Tomorrow (S4T) is proud to introduce a new program to help bring farm and garden activities home. The program is called Ka Hana Māla’ai or "food garden activities." With the kind donation of plant material from the Kailua Intermediate School 'Uala beds we are currently offering cuttings of 'Uala (sweet potato) to the community with a flier that includes an history of 'Uala in Hawaii and the Pacific as well as direction on how to root the cutting and then get them planted up in the ground or in pots. The cutting offered are a mix of Okinawan and Stokes.
Plans are in the works to offer different varieties of plant material in the future as well including peas, green onions, and others as they may become available. Stay tuned to see what comes next.
